This month we decided to shine some Mediterranean sunshine over the gloom of winter with a selection of souvenirs from Malta. A long-time favourite island resort, together with her sister islands Gozo and Comino, Malta is a rich hunting ground for Fashion Souvenirs, from beautifully hand crafted pullovers, lace and silver jewellery, through to cheap bargains picked-up in the Triq Il-Merkenti market. Evocative images of the Maltese Cross and the Knights of Malta, traditional Dghajsa and Luzzu boats, Karrozin carriages and the bright orange Leyland buses of the islands all provide inspiration for souvenir motifs and emblems.
